6. Use of AI Voice Assistant ("Sam")
The Website and its related telephony service include an AI-powered voice assistant ("Sam") designed to discuss your Canadian citizenship by descent inquiry and assist with intake. You acknowledge and agree that Sam is an automated system and not a lawyer or regulated immigration consultant. While the AI system is technically supervised and audited by Cohen Immigration Law to ensure professional standards, communications with Sam do not constitute legal advice and do not create a solicitor-client relationship with Cohen Immigration Law or any of its attorneys unless you have signed a separate Retainer Agreement.
You further acknowledge that AI systems may occasionally produce errors, "hallucinations," or outdated information. You agree that you will not rely solely on information provided by Sam for making immigration decisions or submitting applications to government authorities. You are solely responsible for verifying any information obtained from Sam with a qualified professional before acting on it. To the fullest extent permitted by law, CanadaVisa Media and Cohen Immigration Law shall not be liable for any damages, application refusals, or losses arising from your reliance on Sam's automated responses.
Phone conversations with Sam are recorded for quality assurance, transcript review by supervising attorneys, and regulatory compliance. By continuing the conversation, you consent to this recording.

15. Governing Law and Choice of Forum
The Website and these Terms of Use will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Quebec and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without giving effect to any choice or conflict of law provision, principle, or rule (whether of the laws of the Quebec or any other jurisdiction) and notwithstanding your domicile, residence, or physical location.

20. SMS and Mobile Communications
20.1 Service Description. By consenting to Cohen Immigration Law's SMS/text messaging service, you agree to receive recurring automated transactional text messages from CanadaVisa Media (Cohen Immigration Law) at the mobile number provided during the assessment, sign-up process, or verbal consent during a phone consultation. These messages may include: appointment and callback confirmations, secure payment links for retainer fees, document upload requests, case status updates, voicemail follow-ups when we have been unable to reach you by phone, and educational notifications related to your Canadian citizenship by descent inquiry. Messages originate from +1 (484) 878-5040. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of any purchase.
20.2 Cancellation and Opt-Out. You can cancel the SMS service at any time. To opt out, text the keyword STOP in reply to any of our messages. After you send the SMS message "STOP" to us, we will send you one final SMS message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed. After this confirmation, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us. If you wish to resume messages after opting out, reply START, or sign up again via our website or by contacting us directly.
20.3 Help and Support. If you are experiencing issues with the messaging program, you can reply with the keyword HELP for more assistance, or you can get help directly by contacting us at sysadmin@canadavisa.com or 1.888.947.9445.
20.4 Fees and Frequency. Message and data rates may apply for any messages sent to you from us and to us from you. Message frequency varies based on your interaction with our services and the stage of your inquiry or matter — typically between two and five messages per case, though volume may be higher during active document collection or payment processing. If you have any questions about your text plan or data plan, please contact your wireless provider.
20.5 Carrier Liability. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. CanadaVisa Media is not responsible for any delays in the receipt of any SMS messages connected with our service. Delivery is subject to effective transmission from your network operator and processing by your mobile device.
20.6 Privacy. All mobile information you share with us is governed by our Privacy Policy. We do not share your mobile phone number or consent status with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. The only third parties involved in SMS delivery are our communications service providers (such as Twilio, Inc.), who handle message transmission on our behalf under data processing agreements that prohibit them from using mobile numbers for any purpose other than delivering messages on our behalf.
